{"id":1198,"date":"2021-12-06T11:06:49","date_gmt":"2021-12-06T10:06:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.reffay-sas.fr\/en\/?p=1198"},"modified":"2022-01-06T11:07:42","modified_gmt":"2022-01-06T10:07:42","slug":"midest2019-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.reffay-sas.fr\/en\/2021\/12\/06\/midest2019-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Engaged in circular economy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>BIO-PLASTIC<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Always more concerned about the impact of the industry on the environment, we have recently integrated <strong>a range of organic plastic in our panel of raw materials.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We propose you different spirits of composition <strong>more ecological and respectful of the environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In more classic, spirit of the fields: wheat, barley, hull of rice, corn.<\/li>\n<li>In more original, marine spirit: mussel shells, oysters, scallops and seaweed.<\/li>\n<li>Fruity: cocoa, coffee grounds, olive stones, grape seeds.<\/li>\n<li>Vegetable fibers: wood, cork, miscanthus, linen.<\/li>\n<li>Floral: rose, lavender.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Its texture (rough, smooth or soft) as well as its rigidity or flexibility varies according to the matrix used and its load.<\/p>\n<p>The effects obtained with the mixture of these co-products can, in some cases, recall other materials.<\/p>\n<p>The intensity of the odors can be modulated according to the coproducts.<\/p>\n<p>By processing this type of plastic, <strong>we contribute to improving the environmental impact of our products.<\/strong> Firstly, through its biodegradable nature, offering <strong>an additional option for the end of life of our products and allowing a reduction in waste volumes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly, by using renewable resources for its manufacture, which allows a <strong>reduction in the use of<\/strong> <strong>fossil resources<\/strong> <strong>and greenhouse gas emissions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It allows us not only to preserve fossil fuels, but also to decrease the rate of pollution caused by waste.<\/p>\n<p>We are committed to putting in place all possible means to work for the protection of the planet.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>LABEL MORE<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>In May 2020, our company was awarded the MORE label in <strong>recognition of our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have implemented new processes to promote the use of recycled raw materials in the production of our products.<\/p>\n<p>By favoring the use of these materials, we are opting for a <strong>more sustainable consumption with products that concentrate more and more recycled plastics.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This label shows <strong>our integration in the circular economy<\/strong> but also <strong>our daily investment in reducing the content of virgin plastic raw materials in our product panel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During a short survey, we listed by recycled polymer the tonnage used by our company during 2020 of recycled raw materials from mechanical or chemical recycling of the following waste:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post-consumer: waste generated by households at home or away from home.<\/li>\n<li>Commercial: waste generated by commercial activities (stores, supermarkets, offices&#8230;)<\/li>\n<li>Post-industrial: waste generated by industrial activities (packaging, unsold goods, etc.) and treated outside the site that generated it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We take very seriously our role in the circular economy, which consists of producing goods in a sustainable way while limiting consumption, waste of resources and waste production.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BIO-PLASTIC Always more concerned about the impact of the industry on the environment, we have recently integrated a range of organic plastic in our panel of raw materials.
